- Osiris -
A piece done very quickly, and adapted from the original Sleep Parade 'headstorm' figure, but taken in a much different direction, more towards where I had originally intended. I liked using a red sky on this one, as it made it interesting to paint in all the light and landscape.

Another new digital piece that deals with nonsense. A kind of reworking of a physical painting I did a couple of years ago for the Bivalve project. I wanted to focus more on the surrealism element that was lacking in the original. There are loads of fun little details in this one. The whole thing is also in part inspired by a great Bivalve track called 'Laughter'. I also decided there needed to be an obvious frog rather than a covert one. It's also a rather refreshing feeling working with lots and lots of color an daylight again.

Another digital piece, this time I went back to a drawing I did around 1996, and a character I had created . . .kind of an alter ego maybe. I wanted to paint a completely digital version of it, and got a little carried away with the background. Pere Ubu records helped inspire the overall theme here, in particular 'Ray Gun Suitcase' which is an excellent record. I think I learned a fair bit about creating digital work this time, and found that there really aren't any limits as far as texture and light go.
